Rahul Gandhi of the Indian National Congress (INC), a touted Italian, becomes the Leader of Opposition in the Parliament of India, the largest democracy in the world.

The much touted Pappu has become stronger after being trolled for being an Italian. Just because his mother Sonia Gandhi was born in Italy! Her husband, the Late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s birthright cannot be questioned.

In this situation, just to put things in context, it is notable that former Prime Minister, Late Indira Gandhi had mentioned – If Jan Sangh, a right wing organisation and predecessor of BJP, assumes power, it will not require an emergency to be imposed because it will be one. This was precision in politics.

One more instance to share for educational purposes - Former Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh has said it will be disastrous for India if Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister. Sadly it happened thrice over. Today, Rahul Gandhi has been crowned as the Leader of the Opposition in the highest institution of a democratic country like India.

Agreed that Rahul Gandhi must have done some Public Relations and marketing for his Bharat Jodo Yatra and Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, his two outreach efforts. Even Modi had hired a USA based Advocacy agency for his 2014 campaign because the Gujarat and Western India media went against his thoughts and actions.

It is said that the media bought over by the BJP blocked Rahul’s initiatives. Before that, the BJP even disqualified him as a Member of Parliament (MP) from Wayanad in the God’s own country Kerala.

Now, India looks forward to a strong opposition in the Parliament. While living up to it’s commitment in terms of promises made during the election speeches, the Leader of the INDIA ALLIANCE pack must ensure that he does justice to his words.

In India, any political party can achieve blanket power with money, and BJP has it. However, this money power couldn’t ensure it getting an absolute majority this time round. RSS, BJP’s father organisation, has kept itself away from the new BJP which, its former President J P Nadda said the BJP has grown bigger, and it doesn’t need RSS anymore!!!

The element of being a good Leader of the Opposition lies with Rahul Gandhi now. Modi, as a proclaimed uneducated person and a renowned pathological liar needs a good measure of his venom which he has forcibly injected in every Indian in the last decade.

Hopefully Rahul Gandhi dons the role of a real leader and get back the largest democracy, India, to it’s glory. Forget the Modi’s and the externed goon named Amit Shah. No other name in BJP worth spending time on. India wins.
