Willard S. Van Dyke
Famoso per la serie dei films dell'uomo-ombra (The thin man,
1934; After the thin man, 1936; Another thin man, 1939; Shadows
of the thin man, 1941) è Willard S. Van Dyke, nato a San
Diego nel 1887 (morto nel 1944), già assistente di Griffith
in "Intollerance", ha diretto anche "White shadows in the South
seas" (1928), "Eskimo" (1933), "The painted veil" (1934), "Marie
Antoinette" (1938).
